2005 SWATH Hunt
17 CTC members attended. John and Ralph Shape both won gold coins, plus Ralph also won a 5oz silver round. Mark Jenkins placed 3rd for the men in the Saturday Open and Dennis Walker placed 5th. Doris Sipila placed 4th for the women. In the Sunday Open, Mark Jenkins placed 2nd for the men and Doris Sipila placed 3rd for the women. Jenelle Jenkins placed 5th in the Juniors Hunt. Mark Jenkins represented CTC in the Club trophy hunt and came in 1st. It was a fun hunt put on by chairman Lyle Thomas and the hard work of his fellow club members. Again we enjoyed a barbecue on Saturday night put on by the club.
On a sad note we are sorry to hear that Lyle's brother, Albert, passed away on Wednesday May 11th. Albert was there on Friday helping to plant coins and suffered a stroke at dinner on Friday night. Last report on Sunday was that he was doing good, and we are sorry to hear that he passed away. Our condolences to the Thomas family.
